Leading blogger Vicki Psarias joins the FunFest Blogger Summit speaker line-up!

Vicki Psarias, the woman behind the ultra-successful Honest Mum website, is returning to FunFest on September 10th to share her tips on how to increase your confidence, shun your fears – and, ultimately, grow your business.

Vicki is one of the top five per cent of bloggers worldwide. Her site, Honest Mum, is a lifestyle online magazine targeting parents aged 30+, and focuses on food, fashion, film and wellbeing, as well as parenting.

Her posts very often provide advice to women on how to become their most confident and successful selves in the digital space – and real world. A subject close to her heart, this will provide the basis for Vicki’s presentation session at FunFest.

“As women, we often feel like frauds don’t we? I know I do, and often, and there’s a term for it: the imposter syndrome,” she says. “The imposter syndrome alludes to feeling like a fake when you have no reason to. It boils down to confidence, and despite more women than ever thriving in the work place, it’s sad to admit, we are often our own worst enemies.”

A regular in the national media on TV, Vicki was featured on Sky News earlier this year, discussing this very topic. She will expand on this theme at FunFest.

Kirsty Barr, MD of MI PR Global, the company behind FunFest, adds: “Vicki’s presentation at FunFest last year was incredibly inspirational to all those who attended the event – including me. So we’re delighted that she has agreed to return this year.

“The issue of confidence is something that affects many, many women and can often mean it holds them back in business. We’re looking forward to Vicki tackling this topic and offering advice about how we can all learn to have a bit more swagger!”

The FunFest Blogger Summit is the UK’s first family-friendly blogger conference and brand ambassador exhibition.

FunFest 2016 - Return of the Summit!

MI PR Global have today announced the venue and revised date for this year’s ‘bigger and better’ FunFest Blogger Summit. The event will be returning to Whittlebury Hall in Northamptonshire on Saturday 10th September 2016

The one-day conference, networking and brand ambassador programme is the only one of its kind, offering both brands and bloggers a unique opportunity, where they can discuss brand ambassador, social media and PR opportunities face to face in a family friendly environment.

Expo partners across a variety of family entertainment and lifestyle sectors will be introduced to some of the most influential bloggers in the UK.

“In today’s digital world, it is becoming more and more apparent just how important bloggers are to brands, especially in the toy, nursery, tech and licensing industries,” said Kirsty Barr, director of MI PR Global. “This is why FunFest is now such an essential calendar event! Bloggers are one of the most trustworthy sources on the internet, they offer great PR opportunities through product and service reviews, and also act as an ideal, independent third party to tell consumers about your brand.”

Once again, the conference will host four exciting guest speakers from the world of blogging, covering a number of topics including how to create a successful partnership for both brand and blogger and a look into the impact of children’s digital footprint in the online universe.

New for 2016, the event will incorporate a sponsored children’s zone whilst bloggers attend the conference, and opportunities will be given to two brands to speak during the morning sessions. This year’s expo is also set to have a number of exhibitor zones and areas including Play Zone, STEM, Children’s Entertainment, Festive, Outdoor and more.
