International Women’s Day: Make It Happen

It’s International Women’s Day today, an event which celebrates the achievements of women around the world, while calling for greater equality.

The theme this year is Make It Happen, encouraging effective action for advancing and recognising women.

Blogging hasn’t changed the world (although political bloggers have successfully raised awareness of troubles and injustices internationally), but it has changed the face of modern media.

And, importantly, it has given many millions of women a voice, empowering them at the same time. And for many, blogging has also provided them with a way to make a living, working hours that fit with their other roles as mothers, grandmothers, wives, girlfriends, friends and more.

If you want to take your blogging business to the next level, Make It Happen by registering now to attend the FunFest Blogger Summit. It’s a unique one-day conference and brand ambassador programme, which takes place on Saturday September 12th at Whittlebury Hall, Northampton.
