The Fairy Blog Mother joins the FunFest conference schedule

Award-winning blogger Alice Elliott – aka The Fairy Blog Mother – has joined the roster of speakers for the upcoming FunFest Blogger Summit.

Alice’s conference session ‘How To Get Your Blog Noticed By The Right People’ will give delegates practical advice on how to grow your audience – and attract advertisers and other paying clients.

A digital marketer and ex-graphic designer, Alice is passionate about blogs and the benefits they can bring to businesses, individuals and more. She has presented a numerous conferences previously, including BritMums Live! and the Mumsnet Blogfest events.

“Fairy Blog Mother came into being because I realised many people didn’t understand about blogs (certainly this was the case back in 2006 when I started my first blog),” she said. “I considered this a shame, because for me blogs are totally brilliant, are immeasurably valuable to businesses, and are a fantastic resource for writers and those who want to express themselves online.”

Kirsty Barr, MD of miPR, the organiser of FunFest added: “We’re delighted that Alice is joining us to speak at FunFest. All bloggers want to grow their audiences – and to engage with brands. Alice’s conference session will provide invaluable advice on how to do both.”

The FunFest Blogger Summit is a day of conference sessions, networking and brand ambassador opportunities.

Taking place on Saturday, September 12th at Whittlebury Hall Hotel & Spa, it will feature educational conference sessions and masterclasses designed to give bloggers the opportunity to learn from their peers and media experts.

After a free lunch, delegates will be able to network and meet with some of the top toy and pre-school brands, all of whom are looking for new brand ambassadors.

And on top of all this, kids are welcome! There will be a dedicated area for children, supervised by registered, CRB-checked child-minders – allowing you to concentrate on your one-on-one meetings, while your little ones sample the very latest and upcoming toys and games.
